WHAT?

So, I just found out that Matty C-C is getting MARRIED in October! I feel like perhaps a trick is being played on me, so if someone wants to confirm this from an outside source, I'd appreciate it. I was told by Matty himself... but I still can't believe it.

Guess What!

I talked to Devon Sparks on the phone!

He's alive! And loving architecture! And has an iPhone, so he now answers phone calls. Amazing! I actually don't have much more of an update, but knowing he's alive and well is nice. I might try and visit him one of these weekends, since it's been (gulp) a year since I've seen him.

Anyway, I'm not sure if anyone is reading this still, but I suppose I might make an update or two now and again, on the off chance that Andy gets bored at work.

I had a nice weekend at John's- we planned on doing some digging, but then didn't have enough people and spend both days doing recon (wandering around places where there might be caves). It was quite nice to be outside, and- of course- quite nice to see John. Plus, he fed me well. I'm even eating leftovers (that I drove back from Rutland with me) for the second night in a row for this past weekend. Along with the worlds stalest bagel- it really should be made into croutons, but I'm desperate. Morgan wanders off into dream land and thinks how nice it will be to live with someone who likes to cook for her next year... especially while on Plan...

Oh- we did jump into one smallish cave, and I got to try out my NEW headlamp and helmut. They were quite awesome, and I can't wait to use them more. Now... I just need to get coveralls... and go somewhere I can try on lots of frame packs. And knee pads, but those are easy. And probably a few other things...

Anyway, the Lucier Rd. is currently quite a mess. My car is parked at the college, and we've borrowed a truck to get to and from the house. This means we have to coordinate our schedules, but it isn't too hard, since we hardly leave Marlboro.

School has been... unexciting. I submitted my FINAL PLAN APPLICATION (oooooooooooo), and my internship proposal (hope I'll get money!) for this summer. I worked in the lab a bit with Henny this morning, I think things are going well with her project. I think the microtome only needs oil at this point, and then it should be working pretty well. I hope it does, since this is her senior exhibition and I don't want to mess any part of it up!

Well, I suppose I should go do work.
